How to operate your climate controlled storage unit.

*Operate ONLY from 120 Volt, single phase, 20 Amp circuit.

*When plugging container into the electrical supply, it is HIGHLY recommended that the receptacle be GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected. If you are unsure if this protection exists, please consult a licensed electrician.

*It is recommended that container be plugged into a dedicated circuit. If this is not possible, plug container into circuit with light load.

*If unit is plugged in and operates for 10 seconds or longer before tripping the breaker, you have likely overloaded the breaker. Lighten the load; reset the breaker and resume use. If breaker still trips only after working for 10 seconds or longer, shut off breaker and consult a licensed electrician. Some brands of breakers are more reliable than others and thus have been known to not trip at times. It is the sole responsibility of the home or business owner to verify his/her electrical system is in proper working condition before adding a new load on their electrical system. As with any new appliance, monitor its use when starting it up for the first time. If you notice anything wrong, shut off breaker and call a licensed electrician.

*If unit is plugged in and immediately (as in less than 1 second) the breaker trips, there may be issues other than an overload. DO NOT continue resetting the breaker. It is trying to tell you there is a problem.

*If the GFCI plug (Not your homes breaker) trips when plugged in, you may have a ground fault. Check the extension cord for flaws. Also, check to see if the cord is lying in water or if there is excess moisture around the equipment. Unplug extension cord (verifying cord is not connected to the electrical system) and wipe prongs on both the extension cord and the trailers inlet with a dry towel. GFCI's may not work in dense fog.

*When connecting unit to power supply, use ONLY a 12 gauge extension cord, no longer than 25 ft. Inspect the extension cord for physical defects. If extension cord shows signs of wear or abuse, discard and obtain new cord. Extension cord must be rated for outdoor use.

NOTE: *These are not refrigerated containers - not meant for food!
